There are 3 stages to admission to the school:
Stage 1:
Download your application form (side menu).
Fill it out and add to it any necessary documents and the required portfolio.
You are required to include the following three exercises:
1) A short story of your own creation, printed, 1-2 pages, on the subject:
"A childhood memory"
2) 3-5 still photographs that you have taken that tell a story
3) 1 photo that you have taken on the subject "A conflict".
You will need to attach your registration fee to the portfolio.
Registation fees:
For the full time directing track NIS 350
For the part time scriptwriting track NIS 200
For late application after June 1 fees are as follows:
For the full time directing track NIS 400
For the part time scriptwriting track NIS 220
You may attach your fee in the form of either cash or a check. The school cannot take responsibilty for cash lost in the mail.

Note: Registration fees are non-refundable.
Stage 2:
You should hear from the school within a month of your application. If you have had no response four full weeks after sending in your application, contact the academic secretary Shlomi (details below).
All applicants will be invited to take a 3.5 hour written entrance examination at Ma'aleh.
The applicant will be tested on creative ability.
Stage 3:
If you pass the first tow stages, you will be invited for a personal interview.
The school will not accept more than 25 students to each of the 2 tracks.
